Every January and February we open our apprenticeship programs, taking applicants for plant
mechanic apprenticeships, electrical mechanic apprenticeships, heavy fabrication boilermaker
apprenticeships.

Our apprenticeships programs run in conjunction with TAFE, in accordance with the
Government's Australian Apprentices program (http://www.australianapprenticeships.gov.au/)
and run for four years. If you’re just finishing up year 10 or 12 or are interested in mature age
apprenticeships and are looking for some of the best practical experience out there, read more

When?

The recruitment process for our apprenticeship training begins in November and if you’re successful, your apprenticeship will begin in February.

What‘s available?

When you choose an apprenticeship with us, you’ll receive training and experience with some of
the best people in the industry, on market-leading machinery. We offer apprenticeship training in:

Plant Mechanic Apprenticeship
Plant mechanics provide diagnostic and general maintenance to our customer’s equipment.

Auto Electrician Apprenticeship
The Auto Electrical Apprenticeship teaches apprentices how to provide electrical and mechatronic troubleshooting as well as install new electrical components on mobile earthmoving machinery.

Heavy Fabrication Boilermaker
Students undertaking the Boilermaker Apprenticeship receive invaluable first-hand experience
and training providing Boilermaking, welding maintenance and new options work for both
customers and branch maintenance.
